We at LPKOD were surprised that no one would give this darting gentleman, from Rugeley, a shot in the PDC. Thus we decided to put our money and effort where our mouth was. Two years later and of course it looks an easy decision. Mark is on the verge of the elite Top 32 has reached two World Championships & two Major Qtr Finals was named PDC Newcomer of the year 2011 and earned in excess of £70,000. Watch out in 2012.
Ian had found his second year in the PDC tough and we were pleased to lighten the load. Given the simple aims of qualifying for The World Championships & gaining a tour card by reaching the top 64, a huge effort from Ian backed up by LPKOD resulted in a tremendous seasons end with Ian reaching The Grand Slam of Darts & The World Championships performing superbly in both. Ian is now on the verge of the Top 50 and set to go higher in 2012.
Ryan is a phenomenally talented young darter from Brereton. To us at LPKOD he has an air of Ade Lewis about him! With the explosion of youth darts the chances for Ryan to build a career are better than ever. His superb start included reaching the Winmau Masters at the age of 17. In 2010 he made a winning PDC Pro Tour Debut and reached the final stages of the PDC/UNICORN World Youth Championships seeded 6. In other competitions Ryan has performed admirably, winning or appearing in the later stages of many Open Events and Knockout Tournaments across the UK.
After a few lean years `Smiffy’ was in need of a little inspiration as he renewed his efforts to again reach the heights his huge talent deserves. This former World No.5 and World Semi Finalist showed tremendous character and grit to reach his first Pro Tour final for years and qualify for The World Championships. 2010 & 2011 have been Dennis’s best for a while and it is superb to see `The Great Crusader’ marching on!
This tremendous teenage talent, first appeared at our Pro Practice League (1) in 2010 and after a year of quietly advising, we offered to support his bid to become the hottest teenage property in darts. After discreetly arranging Adams Q School attendance, we also ensured that his first PDC professional appearance was a huge success. It was our pleasure to see Adam onto safe passage with Modus Darts & Red Dragon (I was never happy with Adam being under 18). We at LPKOD were happy to help Adam and ensure he was properly looked after by two of the biggest & best organizations in pro darts.
In addition, our sponsored & managed players, we have used our Pro Practice League & events platform to develop, help & promote players within The PDC, Open Events & PDC Youth Tour. This has been very enjoyable and useful for many players including : Kirk Shepherd, Steve `The Muffin Man’ Hine, Nik `Hero’ Fullwell, Matt `The Lad’ Gallett, Simon `The Manxman’ Jones, Andy`Slugger’ Brown & England youth captain Jake Jones and many more…
Let’s Play Knockout Darts came into being in 2008. Knockouts & Exhibitions players & fans in Sutton Coldfield were our earliest efforts. Our enthusiasm for darts grew into a full time operation. We have staged over 50 darting events for thousands of players and spectators with over £ 20,000 in prizes.
We became convinced that our friend Mark Hylton had what it took to play PDC darts & in 2010 moved into sponsorship & management of professional players. Mark’s superb performance has led to LPKOD being asked to assist or support other professionals. In 2010 we supported Dennis Smith to a resurgence & during 2011 we answered an SOS from Ian "Diamond" White. In addition it is our pleasure to assist the youth career of Ryan`The Rhino’ Herrington.
We are a friendly but determined team who combine Pro Practice Leagues, Sponsorship, Brand Building, Exhibitions & Events with Psychology, Preparation, Logistics, Analysis & Strategy.
